If you are driving south on Fifth Avenue, turn right on 43rd Street, right on 6th Avenue, right on 44th Street. The Club is on the right. BY SUBWAY Take the N, R, 1, 2, 3, and 6 to Times Square. Walk east on 44th Street. The Club is on the south side of the street between Sixth and Fifth Avenues. Take the 4, 5, or 6 to Grand Central Terminal, Walk west on 44th Street, the Club is on the south side of the street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Walk west on 44th street, the Club is on the south side of the street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. AMTRAK & NJ TRANSIT Amtrak Trains and NJ Trains run out of Penn Station. Take the 1, 2, 3, and 9 one stop to Times Square. Walk east on 44th Street; the Club is on the south side of the street between Sixth and Fifth Avenues. CLUB SERVICES Expect an unequaled level of personal service at The Penn Club. A variety of specialized services within the Club provide pleasure and convenience for our members and their guests. Business Services: Faxes and copies can be obtained for a minimal charge at the Front Desk of The Penn Club. Car/Limousine: The Club has a voucher account arrangement with a private car service and a limousine service. Complimentary Coffee & Tea: Served in the Benjamin Franklin Library daily from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Gift Shop: The Club has a variety of products bearing The Penn Club Logo, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, umbrellas, baseball caps, coffee mugs and golf bags. A catalogue and a limited inventory is available on the 12th floor of the Palestra Fitness Center. Internet Access: Internet Access is available in the Benjamin Franklin Library. Members are welcome to use the computer available in the library to check their email or log onto The Penn Club Web site. Laundry: Visitors may obtain laundry service by contacting the Front Desk. Regular service drop before 9:00 a.m. for evening return. Newspapers: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Daily News, New York Post and The Daily Pennsylvanian are available in the Lobby daily, as well as during breakfast. Notary Public: A Notary Public is available during normal business hours Monday - Friday. This service is complimentary to all members and their guests. Parking: Convenient parking has been made available to members and their guests with Central Parking Garage, located on 44th street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway. The garage has two entrances, one on 43rd street and the other on 44th street depending on which way you are coming from. The Penn Club has a special rate for its members, which is $22.00 for each 24hrs. In order to get this rate, members and their guests must have their parking tickets validated at the front desk. POLICIES & PROCEDURES Dress Code: "Business Casual" is acceptable throughout the Club seven days a week. Proper dress is required at all times. Members and their guest must refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, sneakers and T-shirts while visiting the Club. Smoking: Smoking will only be permitted in areas designated by the House Committee. Subject to change, the current designated smoking areas are as follows: Certain areas of the Bar and Grill Room. Smoking in the 3rd, 4th, and 10th floor banquet and meeting rooms will be determined by the individual renting the specific area. Certain sleeping room floors are designated as smoking floors, inclusive of public space and individual rooms. Gratuities: No member or guest may give money or other gratuity to anyone in service at the Club. Guests: A guest (non-member) may utilize the Club's facilities when accompanied by a member in good standing. A member is responsible for the conduct of, and charges incurred by, his/her guest(s) while they are on Club property. At the Club's discretion, a guest fee may be applicable when a non-member utilizes certain Club facilities (i.e. overnight guestrooms, health club, etc.) A spouse is considered a guest and consequently must be accompanied by the member when utilizing the Club's facilities, unless the spouse obtains a spouse membership. Billing: Each member receives a club house account. After the last day of each month, statements will be mailed to each member showing charges owed the Club. This amount is payable upon receipt and no later than the end of the month that the bill is received. Wheelchair Accessibility: All floors of the Club are wheelchair accessible. SCHEDULING A TOUR Tours of the Club are given weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to eligible member candidates. Please schedule a tour in advance by e-mailing us at membership@pennclub.org with the date and time you would like to take a tour. Tours take approximately 30 minutes.
